In 1996 when I released my album "Highway" for me the Internet was the new frontier and I was heading west to stake my claim! I was sending discs to anyone I could to get publicity rolling and by god. My phone rang one day and a man with an unfamiliar accent said hello, I'm Paolo Car6. His reviews in Buscadero changed my life forever. The next call was from Carlo Carlini. We became close friends over the years. I think of my tours he promoted often... RIP Carlini, tell Bruno hello....

Within a few months the Redneck Truckers and I were on an airplane headed for Europe. For a small town boy from middle America it started me on a journey I'm still on right now. Matter of fact I'm writing these notes at a truck stop on I-8o in the best place on earth, IOWA!

The record you are listening to was recorded during my first tour in Italy. My voice is rough but the band was killing it!!
